Frequently Asked Questions
Are your products suitable for vegans? The majority of my products are suitable for vegans but occasionally I use honey or beeswax in a limited edition soap.
I have sensitive skin so can I use your products? There are no chemicals or artificial ingredients in my products so you should be fine using them. It does depend, however, on the individual and if you are sensitive to a particular ingredient. My products are formulated very carefully and assessed by trained chemists to make sure they are suitable for your use.
Can I use your products on my kids? Yes, absolutely, once they are over 6 months old. There are no harmful or artificial ingredients in there - just natural plant based oil, butters & essential oils. I did a video talking about this subject which you can watch here.
Are your soaps suitable to use as body wash? Yes! This is partly why I made them in the first place as I wanted to get rid of all the bottles in my shower. I make my soaps the old fashioned way with olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter & calendula oil so they are packed full of super moisturising oils and butters and won’t dry out your skin the way shower gels and commercial soaps can. You can read more about the different ones here.
Do you sell shampoo? Not yet but I promise I’m working on it!
I want to send a gift to someone. Can you post directly to them? Yes I can. When you are checking out your gift just add their address as the delivery address and if you want me to write a note for you, just pop it in the section for gift comments.
Do you sell essential oils? No I don’t but if there is something in particular you’re looking for or something you are needing help with please drop me a line here and I’ll see if I can help. I can make up a personalised body oil for you if needs be.
Is it possible to swap an item in one of the gift sets for something else? Just drop me a line before you order and that shouldn’t be a problem at all

Do you do workshops for private groups? I’d love to do one with a few of my girlfriends. Ask and you shall receive! How much is postage? The postage is worked out according to weight so it depends on how much is ordered. It starts at €4.80. You also get free shipping if you spend over €100. You do have the option, if it suits, to choose ‘collect’ as your delivery option at checkout and you can pop by The Wrens Nest to collect your order.
I want to post a gift to my friend overseas. Is that possible? At the moment postage is just available to Ireland and the UK. The restrictions for postage to the USA make it almost impossible.
